Evanston 17-Year-Old Charged in McDonald's Shooting
Police say the man has been charged as an adult in the case.
Police say they have identified 17-year-old Evanston resident Anthony Mark Conorquie as the man who .
Conorquie is being charged as an adult, police said.
Shortly after the shooting, Evanston police conducted a yard to yard search of the area near the site, where they said they found the handgun used in the incident and detained five people of interest.

Witnesses on the scene Friday said a group of young men entered the fast food restaurant and ran out in different directions after the shots were fired.
The victim, a 16-year-old student at Evanston Township High School, is currently in stable condition, according to Evanston Police Chief Richard Eddington.

According to police, Conorquie has been charged with the following:
-1 Felony Count Aggravated Battery with a Firearm
-1 Felony Count Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
-1 Felony Count Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon – No FOID Card
-1 Felony Count Attempted First Degree Murder
A Facebook page matching Conorquie's full name indicates that he is or was also a student at ETHS.
His court date has been set for May 25 in Skokie.
