Car Burglar Picks The Wrong Car
Police arrested an 18-year-old Evanston man after a security guard found the teen inside his car with the glove box open, then detained the teen until police arrived.
An Evanston security guard detained a suspected car burglar until police arrived after he caught the teenager inside his car with the glove box open.
Angelo Dennison, 18, of the 1800 block of Emerson Street in Evanston, was charged with one count of burglary, a felony offense, on Thursday, June 27, according to police.
Police say the security guard, who lives in Des Plaines, was working overnight in the 1200 block of Sheridan Road when he found Dennison inside his car, holding his cell phone.
