Police: Minnesota Man Arrested for Dealing Drugs
Police reported the man was in possession of marijuana, cocaine and over $1,000.
A 34-year-old Minnesota man was charged with four drug-related felonies and other miscellaneous charges after said they found him with marijuana and cocaine.
Responding to a 911 call, police said they arrested Ronald E. Louden, of Newhope, Minnesota, after they found him with 27.2 grams of marijuana, 3.8 grams of cocaine and $1,351 in cash in a car near the south end of Mason Park, located near the intersection of Florence Avenue and Church Street.
Evanston police were assisted by the Skokie Police Department’s Canine Unit in their search of the vehicle.

Louden was charged with possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possessions of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a park, transporting open alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
A 31-year-old Skokie man, in the vehicle with Louden, was also charged with a city ordinance violation for consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Both men are scheduled to appear in Cook County Circuit Court on August 15.
