Evanston Teen Shot and Killed on Howard

An 18-year-old Evanston man was shot and killed in the 1900 block of West Howard Street in Rogers Park Friday afternoon, according to an article in the Chicago Tribune.

Though his name has not been released, the Tribune said friends of his identified him as a recent Evanston Township High School graduate.

Evanston Now is reporting that police searched the area unsuccessfully for a man that some witnesses said was bleeding as he ran away from the shooting scene.
