Fifth Armed Robbery Reported in 3 Days

Armed Robbery At Foster and Hartrey

A man demanded his victim’s property, then took a white Louis Vuitton purse and a black leather purse at 8:46 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the intersection of Foster Street and Hartrey Avenue.

Skokie Teens Charged With Burglary of a Motor Vehicle

Two 17-year-olds from Skokie were arrested and charged with burglary from a motor vehicle after they allegedly stole an Illinois drivers’ license, Evanston Township High School ID, cash, a debit card, wallet and green Adidas jacket from a 1998 Toyota that was left unlocked in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Central Street between 7:35 and 7:44 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, police reported.

Jewelry Stolen In Burglary On Oakton

Someone stole a white iPad, black Nikon camera with lens, white gold pendant with diamonds and sapphires, wedding ring, gold earrings, gold bracelet and gold cross pendant by entering the unlocked window of a home in the 1800 block of Oakton Street between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, according to police. 

Ford Edge Stolen On McDaniel

Someone stole a 2008 black four-door Ford Edge that was parked in the 1000 block of McDaniel Avenue between 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, and 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, according to police.

Copper Fittings Stolen in Burglary on Dodge

Someone forced open a basement door in the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue and stole copper pipe with fittings between 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, and 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, police reported.

Baby Formula Stolen On Howard Street

Kulsum Begum, 23, of the 6300 block of N. Francisco in Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole Enfamil from the Target at 2209 Howard St. at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, police reported.

Man Charged With Assault On Noyes

A man and a woman threatened someone in the 1700 block of Darrow Avenue at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, according to police. 

Bernard Kimmons, 46, of the 2300 block of Noyes Court, was arrested and charged with assault in the 2300 block of Noyes Court at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, police reported. 

Man Charged With Deceptive Practice on Main

Milford Rogers, 21, of the 500 block of West 85th Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with deceptive practice in the 2400 block of Main Street at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, according to police. 

Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Samuel Anthony Thomas, 19, of the 1300 block of Brummel Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the 2200 block of Foster Street, according to police.
