Four Charged With DUI Around New Year's

Arrests: DUIs, Possession of Cannabis

Manuel Barragan, 56, of the 2700 block of Harvey in Berwyn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Monday, Dec. 31, at the intersection of Howard Street and McCormick Avenue, according to police.

Jane Lenore Bozeman, 63, of the 1800 block of West Greenleaf in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 10:43 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue, police reported.

Cynthia A. Green-Sklare, 56, of the 100 block of Garrison in Wilmette, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in the 2800 block of Sheridan Road at 9:37 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, according to police.

Teddy Lorenzo Hardy, 33, of the 900 block of Dobson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct near his home at 3:59 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, according to police.

Tamone Marquez-Jordan Malone, 18, of the 2000 block of Oakton Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, in the 1100 block of Ridge Avenue, police reported.

Randy Seymour Miller, 18, of the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue, according to police. 

Ginny Narula, 46, of the 1200 block of Oak Avenue, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property at her home at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, police reported. 

Randy Nelson, 43, of the 2100 block of Darrow Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 2:43 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police. 

Gunfire Reported on Ridge Avenue

Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun in the 1900 block of Ridge Avenue around 11:08 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30. Nothing was found in the area. 

Man Steals Toyota From Dodge Avenue

A man stole a four-door, 2007 dark blue Toyota Corolla with the license plate 9433440 from the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue at 12:28 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, according to police.

Burglar Breaks In To Parking Garage

A man broke into a residential building using a long tool, then broke the windows of several parked cars in a secure garage in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue between 5:10 and 5:28 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, according to police. A Garmin GPS and mail were reported missing, police said.

Car Burglars Steals Cash, Clothing, Keys

Someone entered an unlocked 2003 Toyota parked in the 200 block of Burnham Place and stole cash between 12:30 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, according to police.

Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Dodge that was parked in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, and 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, and stole Carsons clothing, police reported.

Someone stole a car key and house key from an unlocked 1999 Isuzu that was parked in the 1800 block of Lyons Street between 2:30 and 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, police reported. 

Thief Steals Xbox Package Christmas Eve

Someone stole a package containing an Xbox that UPS left on the porch of a home in the 1400 block of Wesley Avenue between 3:50 and 5:32 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, police reported.

Vandal Sets Fire to Coats on McDaniel

Someone set fire to coats left in an unlocked foyer of a home in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, and 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, according to police.
