Four People In Custody After Shots Fired

Police took four people into custody for investigation after someone fired a gun at Dempster Street and Fowler Avenue around 7 p.m. Saturday evening, according to police.

Four people were taken into custody after someone fired a gun in west Evanston Saturday evening, according to police.

Cmdr. Jason Parrott said officers responded to a call of shots fired at Dempster Street and Fowler Avenue around 7 p.m., where they found a spent shell casing. Parrott said a gun was fired but no one was shot.

Police brought four people into custody for futher investigation by detectives in connection with the incident, according to Parrott. No charges had been filed as of Saturday afternoon, he said.

all right, close to the high school once again. We're so blessed to have a family/gang war going on right where our teens get educated, play sports, and socialize. Niiiiiice.

As a Pastor... God is in the business of life and transformation. There IS a way through this critical time in Evanston. It is not just a family or two, or the police, or the churches, or the high school on their own that can resolve the problems.
