Cops Observe Graffiti at Evanston Park

Apartment burglary

A silver satellite clock and a wall mount that's used to hang guitars were reported stolen from an apartment in the 1100 block of South Boulevard on April 1. The estimated value of said items is under $500, the report stated.

Vehicle vandalism

A car parked in the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue had its windows damaged on March 31.

'Green' fire

A recycling bin was set on fire in an alley in the 2300 block of Grey Avenue on March 30.

Retail theft

Kenneth Pernell Ross, 49, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft on April 1. Ross was arrested in the 2300 block of Greenwood Street around 7:20 p.m.

Domestic battery

A 40-year-old Evanston man was charged with domestic battery on March 31. The offender was arrested at his home in the 500 block of Sheridan Road around 3:55 p.m., the report stated.
