The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Thieves Spotted On Stolen Bike

A resident of the 1000 block of Greenleaf Street saw a man and a woman riding a bike that was taken from his yard between 12 and 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, according to police.

Arrests: Burglary From Motor Vehicle, Domestic Battery

Demitrius L. Franklin, 19, of the 7500 block of North Greenview in Chicago, was arrested and charged with burglary from a motor vehicle at 4:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, in the 500 block of Custer Avenue, according to police.

A 42-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery on Tuesday, Sept. 3, police reported.

Car Burglary on Clyde

A man entered a 2005 Lexus parked in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue between 4:05 and 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, police reported.

Group Hits Car With Orange Paintballs

A group of 10 men hit a 2013 Volkswagen with orange paintballs at Howard Street and Custer Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, according to police.

Wallet Stolen From Locked Locker

Someone stole a black folding wallet that was locked up in a locker room in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 10:05 and 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to police.

Graffiti Found on Church, Mailbox

Graffiti appeared on a church in the 1800 block of Howard Street at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, according to police.

Graffiti also appeared on a mailbox at Sherman Avenue and Grove Street at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, police reported.
