Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun in the 1200 block of Darrow Avenue at 3:14 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18. Nothing was found in the area.

Residential Burglary Reported On Washington

Someone damaged the bedroom window of a home in the 2100 block of Washington Street between Sunday, Jan. 13, and Thursday, Jan. 17, according to police.

Arrests: Retail Theft, Possession of Cannabis, Battery

Antonio R. Hooper, 25, of the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, after he allegedly stole a 1.75 liter bottle of Bacardi rum from a business in the 1900 block of Dempster, police reported.

Ebony C. Andrews, 27, of the 300 block of Dempster Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at her home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, according to police.

Alexander W. Kontopoulos, 18, of the 900 block of Laramie Avenue in Glenview, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 6:53 pm. Thursday, Jan. 17, in the 2100 block of Payne Street, police reported.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, according to police.

Man Steals Video Camera On Chicago

A man stole an unsecured video camera from an apartment storage locker in 1200 block of Oak Avenue at 3:51 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, police reported. 

Radio, CD Player Stolen From Lexus On Grey

Someone stole an AM/FM radio and CD player from a 1991 Lexus left unlocked in the 1900 block of Grey Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, according to police. 

Package Stolen On Hinman

Someone stole a pair of blue and orange, men’s size 9 Adidas running shoes that were delivered to the common area of an apartment or condo in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue between 6:45 and 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, according to police.

Bike Stolen On Ridge

Someone stole a red and grey 26-inch Diamondback mountain bicycle from a locked storage locker at an apartmen in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue at 6:22 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, according to police.

Man Tries to Steal Bike On Chicago

A man tried to remove the lock from a bike in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 9:59 and 10:52 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, police reported. 

Phone Stolen From Locker Room

Someone stole a black HTC cell phone and a silver iTouch from an unlocked locker room in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, according to police.
