Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the 800 block of Dobson Street. Nothing was found in the area.

Arrests: Domestic Battery

A 35-year-old Evanston woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, according to police.

A 26-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, police reported. 

Bikes Stolen On Benson, Foster

Someone stole an eight-inch frame gold Bell bicycle with a purple heart sticker and head and tail lights that was locked to a rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 5 and 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, according to police. 

Someone stole a light metallic purple Diamondback bicycle that was locked to a rack in the 900 block of Foster Street around 3 p.m. Monday, June 19, police reported. 

Graffiti Found On Beauty Shop

Graffiti appeared on a beauty shop in the 600 block of Howard Street between 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, and 7 am. Tuesday, June 18, according to police.
