The Evanston Police Department is asking residents to assist in reducing thefts and burglaries. Please take extra steps by locking your doors and windows when not home or asleep. The use of motion detection lights near doorways greatly reduces the risk of someone unlawfully entering your home.
Burglaries and thefts often occur without any forced entry at all. Please take the extra step in securing your property and not leaving items unattended.
