Jewelry Stolen On Sheridan; HDTVs Stolen On Brown

Jewelry stolen in burglary

A large wooden box containing several pieces of jewelry was reported stolen from a condominium unit in the 400 block of Sheridan Road on March 22.

Laptop stolen from school

A laptop was reported stolen from a school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue on March 21.

Cash stolen from auto

An unknown amount of cash was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Brown Avenue on March 22.

Clothing stolen from building

Several pieces of clothing and bedding sheets were reported stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Noyes Street on March 19. The items were left unattended in the common area of the building, the report stated.

Residential burglary

Two HDTVs were reported stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue on March 19. The victim told police that he left his or her residence unlocked, the report stated.

Stolen purse

A woman reported her purse stolen after shopping at a pharmacy store in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road on March 22.

Marijuana possession

Daanish Ali, 18, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana on March 22. Ali was arrested in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue around 4:40 p.m., the report stated.

Rogelio Rojas Serracin, 38, or Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana on March 21. Serracin was arrested in the 100 block of Asbury around 3 p.m., the report stated.

Domestic battery

A 47-year-old-man was charged with domestic battery on March 23. The man was arrested in the 700 block of Austin Street around 6:15 p.m., the report stated.
