A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Monroe Street on March 4.

An offender robbed a person in the 900 block of Church Street on March 4 around 3:35 p.m. According to the report, the suspect displayed a knife and removed an unknown amount of cash from the victim. No further details were provided.

Demonte Hill, 18, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on March 4. Hill stole a bottle of alcohol from a store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street but was apprehended by police, the report stated. His court date is April 1.
