Known Offenders Rob Victim at Gunpoint

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Known Offenders Rob Victim at Gunpoint
Two known offenders held someone at gunpoint and stole cash, a cell phone and keys at Elmwood Avenue and Case Street at 9:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, according to police. 

Arrests: DUI, Retail Theft
Joseph J. Cantrell, 34, of the 2000 block of South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft after he stole a stereo system, Ruffles chips and Tostitos salsa from a pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue between 5:44 and 5:52 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, according to police.

Raul Coronel, 45, of the 5500 block of North Rockwell Avenue in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, according to police.

Irene Sayou, 44, of the 17300 block of Wentworth in Lansing, was arrested and charged with contributing to the dependency of a minor at 5:48 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at the station, police reported. 

Graffiti Appears on Maple, Sherman
Graffiti appeared in a parking lot in the 1800 block of Maple avenue around 10:05 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, according to police.

Graffiti appeared on a business in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between 12:01 and 12:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, police reported.
