Locker Theft Leads to Theft From Auto

Gang graffiti
Officers observed gang graffiti in the 600 block of Mulford Street on March 26.
Theft from auto

Cash, a cell phone and a briefcase were reported stolen from a vehicle parked outside a gym in the 100 block of Grove Street on March 25. The victim told police that an unknown person broke into his locker, removed his keys and then looted his vehicle, the report stated.
Stolen projector

A computer projector was reported stolen from a business in the 1200 block of Hartrey Avenue on March 26.
Stolen cash
An unknown amount of cash was reported stolen from an apartment unit in the 1700 block of Lyons Street on March 25.
Possession of burglary tools, dog treats
Andre Peart, 20, of the 1300 block of Dewey Ave., was charged with felony for possession of burglary tools and is set to appear in Circuit Court of Cook County on April 16. Peart also had dog treats in his backpack, police said.
