Update, 9:50 a.m. Monday:

Evanston police are searching for two suspects in the shooting of a 25-year-old man on Dewey Avenue Sunday afternoon.

The victim, who lives in Skokie, was shot in the ankle around 3:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Dewey Avenue, according to Evanston Police Cmdr. Jason Parrott. He was taken to Evanston Hospital, where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Parrot said the investigation indicates that the shooting may have been a drug deal gone wrong.

"This was obviously involving some type of transaction between the offenders and the victim," he said.

Police are now searching for the two suspects, who drove off in a silver Chrysler after the shooting, according to Parrott. One is described as a 6'2" black man with a light complexion and a mustache, who was wearing a red hoodie and dark vest. The second suspect was described as a 5'8" black man with a light complexion and a mustache who was wearing a gray hoodie and baseball cap, Parrott said.

I sort of was hoping that the extreme weather would slow down some of this nonsense but I guess not.

Must be those "families" and "groups" of right wing Tea Party "youths" fighting for turf to show off their FOID cards, attack banks, and blandish their banned semi-automatic weapons. Absolutely we need more Youth Programs for the "youth."
