Man Charged With Drug Possession
Walter Kenner Courtland, 55, of the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at his home, according to police.

Burglar Breaks Car Window, Steals GPS
Someone broke the front window of a 2002 Toyota parked in the 600 block of Sheridan Square and stole a Garmin GPS unit between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, and 9:25 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, according to police.
