Man Charged With DUI, Woman Charged With Trespassing

Man Arrested, Charged With DUI

Deepak Kikeri, 54, of the 700 block of Hinman Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue, police reported.

Burglar Breaks Into Garage on Pioneer Road

Someone broke into an unlocked garage in the 2200 block of Pioneer Road between 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, according to police. The burglar stole cash, a Samsung Slide cell phone, Amy Sax sunglasses and a blue baseball cap with the word “Barca.”

Bikes Stolen On Benson, Noyes

Someone stole a red and white mountain bike that was left unlocked at a bike storage rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, and 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, police reported. 

Someone stole a mens mountain bicycle from an unlocked garage in the 2400 block of Noyes Street between 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, according to police. 

Catalytic Converter Stolen on Wesley

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2000 Toyota parked in the 1200 block of Wesley Avenue between 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, according to police. 

Burglary From a Motor Vehicle

Someone stole cash from an unlocked 2003 Toyota parked in the 2600 block of Thayer Street between 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, according to police. 

Shots Fired on Elmwood

Police investigated a report that a man had fired a gun in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, according to police. 

Woman Arrested, Charged With Trespassing

Ginny Narula, 56, of the 1200 block of Oak Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, police reported.
