Man Comes Home to Find Burglar Inside

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department: 

Man Comes Home to Find Burglar Inside

A man came home and found a burglar inside his house in the 1000 block of Mulford Street around 10:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, according to police. The burglar stole a Dell laptop computer and miscellaneous work papers.

Man Smashes Car Window With Victims Inside

A known offender used a bat to break the passenger window of a car while his victims were inside the vehicle at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue, police reported.

Report of Shots Fired On Reba

Police investigated a report that three shots were fired at 12:34 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the intersection of Reba Place and Elmwood, according to police. 

Arrests: Battery, Assault, DUI, Etc.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, police reported.

Ricco Dominick Aiden, 44, of the 700 block of Dobson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the 100 block of Custer Street, according to police. In the same incident, Ricco Dominick Houston, 23, of the same residence, was charged with assault. 

Jean Johnson-Myers, 57, of the 2100 block of Howard Street, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 8:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue, according to police. 

Keith Kenzie MacDonald, 45, of the 200 block of Chestnut Street in Northbrook, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, police reported. 

Kyle Andrew McKechnie, 25, of the zero block of East Huron in Chicago, was arrested and charged driving under the influence in the 200 block of Sheridan Road on Saturday, Nov. 17, police reported. 

Ronnica V. Noethlich, 39, of the 400 block of Provident in Winnetka, was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 1:35 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in the 600 block of Main Street, police reported.

Juan Ochoa, of the 4700 block of North Whipple Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, according to police. 

David E. Wilkerson, 25, of the 800 block of Dodge Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, police reported.   

Auto Thieves Steal Toyota, Honda

Someone stole a white four-door 2007 Toyota Matrix with the license plate UF8131 that was parked in the 1500 block of Florence Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and 3 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, police reported. 

Someone stole a silver four-door 2001 Honda Accord with the license plate K804036 that was parked in the 800 block of Emerson Street at 12:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, according to police.

Two Bikes, One Tricycle Stolen

Someone stole a Cannondale bicycle that was locked to a storage rack in the 1800 block of Central Street between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, according to police. 

Someone stole a red, blue and green tricycle with yellow on its wheels that was left unlocked in the 900 block of Foster Street between 12:30 and 12:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, police reported. 

Someone stole a purple and silver Pacific women’s cruiser bicycle that was locked to a tree in the 800 block of Elgin Street between 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, and 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, according to police.

Baby Clothing Stolen From Storage Locker

Someone stole baby clothing from a locked storage unit in the 600 block of Case Place between June 14 and Nov. 18, according to police.  

Thief Breaks Window, Steals DVD Player

Someone broke the window of a 2007 Nissan parked in a garage in the 1400 block of Sherman Avenue between 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, and 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, police reported. 

Thief Steals Handicapped Placard On Davis

Someone stole a handicapped placard from a 2007 Lincoln Continental that was parked in the 400 block of Davis Street between 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, police reported.

Thief Swipes Wallet From Restaurant Chair

Someone stole a Michael Kors leather wallet and its contents from a chair at Bravo! Cucina Italiana between 7 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, according to police. 

Multiple Lockers Broken Into at L.A. Fitness

Someone broke into a locked gym locker at the L.A. Fitness at 1618 Sherman Ave. and stole two wallets, red Nike gym shoes, a North Face jacket, G-Shock watch and backpack with its contents between 4 p.m. and 7:41 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, according to police.

Cell Phones, Coat Stolen From Bench at Athletic Club

Someone stole an Apple iPhone 4 with a rubber case, a black Samsung Galaxy cell phone and a black North Face coat from a bench at an athletic club in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, police reported.

Coat Stolen From Restaurant On Howard Street

Someone stole a Perry Ellis black pea coat that was left unattended at a restaurant in the 700 block of Howard Street between 1:39 and 1:41 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, according to police. 

Words Scratched Into Car Hood

Someone scratched words into the hood of a 2001 Honda parked in the 2000 block of Warren Street between 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, according to police. 

Graffiti Found on Mailbox, Garage

Someone left graffiti on a mailbox in the 1600 block of Orrington Avenue at 6:14 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, according to police. 

Graffiti appeared on a garage in the 2700 block of Central Street some time before 2:13 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, police reported.
