Man Flashes Gun at Pedestrian On Brummel

Police spot man with gun

Officers responding to a complaint about a male subject flashing a pistol in the 1500 block of Brummel Street on April 25 around 7:17 p.m. According to the report, a victim told police that the offender pointed a gun at him or her from a "2007 Cadillac." No further details or suspect description were provided.

Stolen hygiene products

Several hygiene products were reported stolen from a store in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue on April 24.

Retail theft

Shelika Currie, 18, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft on April 25. The offender was arrested in the 5800 block of Lincoln Avenue around 11 a.m., police said.

Peggy Hood, 59, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on April 24. Hood was arrested in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 3 p.m.

Aggravated assault

Terri Jenkins, 20, of Evanston, was charged with aggravated assault on April 22. The offender was arrested in the 1900 block of Dewey around 11 a.m.
