Chicago Man Charged With DUI

Salvador Santos, 43, of the 3700 block of West 67th Street in Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Orrington Avenue, according to police.

One man kicked another man’s car after the two got into an argument over a gas pump at a gas station in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police.

Burglary Reported on Cleveland, Lincoln

Someone stole a briefcase with its contents from an apartment in the 1000 block of Cleveland Street between 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, and 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police.

Someone stole an Apple iPad and purse from an unlocked home in the 1900 block of Lincoln Street between 10:34 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, and 4:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police. 

Car Burglars Swipe Wallet, Tools

Someone stole a wallet with its contents from an unlocked 2012 Kia parked in the 1600 block of Washington Street between 12:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, and 8:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, according to police.

Someone broke the window and stole a 12-inch Stihl concrete saw, 16-inch Stihl concrete saw and Busch hammer drill from a 1999 Ford parked in a driveway in the 1900 block of Foster Street at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police. 

Thief Snatches Purse From Cart

A man stole a purse from a shopping cart at a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 12:40 and 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, police reported. 

Man Steals Bag of Candy

A man stole a bag of candy from a pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, according to police. 

iPhones Stolen From Athletic Club, Restaurant

Someone stole an iPhone that was left unattended at an athletic club in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police.

Someone stole an iPhone with a picture of two cats on the case from an unsecured locker at a restaurant in the 700 block of Church Street between 9:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police. The phone number is 651-246-7761, police said. 

Front Door Damaged On Clinton

Someone damaged the front door of a home in the 800 block of Clinton Place between 2 and 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, police reported.
