Man Loses Teeth in Assault Outside Skokie Hotel

A man lost two teeth after he was attacked outside the DoubleTree Hotel in Skokie on Sunday, March 3. He also received treatment for lacerations on his face, police said.

A man received lacerations on his face after being attacked by two unknown offenders outside the DoubleTree Hotel in Skokie, on Sunday, March 3.

The victim also lost two teeth in the attack at 9559 Skokie Blvd., police said.

It is unclear what time the incident occurred, but according to police, the man was outside the hotel with a friend and was carrying a bottle. Two offenders then approached him and took the bottle from his hands, police said.

A struggle would soon ensue and the victim was then clocked in the face with the bottle, knocking his teeth out in the process, police said.

The man was ultimately taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights for treatment. It is unclear who took him to the hospital at this time.
