Man Pulls Handgun On Victim at Gas Station

Man Pulls Out Handgun At Gas Station

A man threatened someone with a handgun at a gas station in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, according to police.

Witness Reports Man With a Gun

Police investigated a report that someone had a gun in the 2100 block of Brown Avenue at 3:51 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. 

Arrest: Possession of Cannabis

Jeffrey Alan Craig II, 21, of the 1800 block of Lyons Street, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 7:16 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in the 1800 block of Lyons Street, police reported. 

Car Burglary on Monroe

Someone broke into a 2007 Hyundai parked in the 1600 block of Monroe Street between 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, and 6:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, police reported.

Man Steals Power Washer Brush

A witness saw a man steal a brush attached to a power washer on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Main Street at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, according to police. 

Wallet Stolen From Gym Locker

Someone stole a Samsonite wallet with its contents from an unlocked locker in the 100 block of Grove Street between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, police reported. 

Window Broken On Asbury

Someone broke the window of a home in the 300 block of Asbury Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, according to police. 

Catalytic Converter Stolen on Chicago

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2012 Ford parked in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, police reported.

What is going on with thefts of stolen catalytic converters? Far too much of this particular crime being committed in our area.
