Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Car at Central and Green Bay

The 56-year-old pedestrian was taken to the hospital with "life-threatening injuries," police say.

A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car this morning at Central Street and Green Bay Road, according to .

The accident happened just after 11 a.m. when the 56-year-old man was walking east in the south crosswalk of Central. A 69-year-old driver turned south onto Green Bay and hit the pedestrian, according to a police press release.

“The investigation is on-going and no charges or citations have been filed,” the release says.
