Man Threatens With Knife on Lee

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Man Threatens With Knife on Lee
An unknown male offender threatened someone with a knife in the 300 block of Lee Street at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, police reported. 

Packages Stolen on Oak, Davis
Someone stole a Pet Perfect handheld vacuum cleaner that was delivered to an apartment or condo common area in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, according to police.

Someone stole a package that was delivered to the 1400 block of Davis Street between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, police reported. It contained a knife sharpener, English tea and a vegetable peeler, police said. 

Arrest: Criminal Damage to Property
Anthony W. Hylton, 51, of the 2100 block of Dobson in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property at 8:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, according to police. 

Graffiti Appears on Central
Graffiti appeared at Central Street and Bryant Avenue at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, police reported. 

License Plate Stolen on Custer
Someone stole a license plate from the 300 block of Custer Avenue at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, according to police.
