Man With Gun Steals Cash at Gas Station

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:
Arrests: DUI, Aggravated Assault, Battery, Forgery
Andrew Iniguez, 22, of the 800 block of Hinman Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the 500 block of Main Avenue, according to police.

Harry Paul Jackson, 43, of the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault Friday, Oct. 12, in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue, according to police.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at his home in Evanston at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, police reported.

Martin Melendez Jr., 41, of the 1800 block of Mulford Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 9:47 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, in the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue, according to police.
Kristen Renner, 46, of the 500 block of Sheridan Road in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at her home Saturday, Oct. 13, police reported.
Amanda J. Sabin, 32, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 4:16 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, in the 700 block of Howard Street, according to police.
Lillian T. Taylor, 28, of the 1400 block of North Talman in Chicago, was arrested and charged with forgery at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue, police reported.
Armed Robbery on Asbury
A man displayed a gun and demanded money, then stole cash from his victim at a gas station in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue at 10:27 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Burglar Steals Laptop, Electronics on Central
Someone broke the front door of a home in the 3200 block of Central Street and stole a laptop computer, 20 Playstation 3 games, Sony electronics, cash and various colognes and perfumes between 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Car Burglaries on Judson, Maple, Sherman
Someone stole an insurance card and registration documents from an unlocked 2009 Volkswagen parked in the 1300 block of Judson Avenue between 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Someone broke the window of a 1998 Chevrolet parked in an apartment lot in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue and stole a Kenwood car stereo between 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Someone entered an unlocked car in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue and stole a handicapped placard between 12 and 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, police reported.
Laptop, Cell Phone Stolen From School
Someone stole a 9-inch Acer laptop computer from a backpack at a school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue between 12:30 and 1:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, police reported.
A man stole an Apple AT&T cell phone with the number 847-287-9022 from a classroom in a school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue, according to police.
Bikes Stolen on Dobson, Noyes
Someone stole a red and white men’s bicycle with a rack above the rear tire from an open garage in the 1700 block of Dobson Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Someone stole a black Schwinn mountain bike from an unlocked garage in the 2500 block of Noyes Street between 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
Coach Purse Stolen On the Bus
Someone stole a beige leather snakeskin cross-body Coach purse and its contents from inside another purse on a bus in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, police reported.
Chairs Broken in Howard Street Church
Someone entered a church in the 2400 block of Howard Street and broke ten chairs between 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, and 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, according to police.
Copper Fittings Stolen on Ridge, Pitner
Someone stole copper downspouts from the yard of a home at Ridge Avenue and Dempster Street between 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and 12:23 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, police reported.
Someone stole copper piping from a home in the 1100 block of Pitner Avenue at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, according to police.
Window Broken on Darrow
Someone broke the window of an apartment in the 1900 block of Darrow Avenue between 8:20 and 8:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, according to police.
