Masked Men Threatened Victim at Gunpoint

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Masked Men Threaten Victim at Gunpoint
Two masked men, each carrying handguns, entered a home in the 700 block of Brummel Street at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, and threatened a man who lives there, according to police. One man punched the victim in the face, while the other man made a comment indicating that the assault might be connected to a situation going on with the victim's family. Police said the incident was not a random assault, but the victim told police he did not recognize the suspects. 

Gunfire Reported on Forestview
Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 2200 block of Forestview Road between 7:09 and 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. Nothing was found in the area.

Woman Charged With Forgery
Leisa Hardwick, 41, of the 7600 block of Sheridan Road in Chicago, was arrested and charged with forgery in the 7600 block of Sheridan Road at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, according to police.

Vandal Smashes Car Window on Dewey
Someone smashed the window of a 2009 Volkswagen with concrete on the 2000 block of Dewey Avenue at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, police reported. 

Man Steals North Face Coat on Sherman
A man stole a North Face hooded coat in size 4T from a business in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 10:56 and 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to police.

Tires and Rims Stolen on Dewey
Someones stole tires with cast aluminum rims from a 2003 Nissan parked in the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, and 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to police.
