Medical Files, Supplies Stolen From Auto

The following arrest information was supplied by the Evanston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft from auto

Patient files, medical supplies, cash and credit cards were reported stolen from a car parked in the 2400 block of Main Street on March 27. The offender(s) gained entry by breaking the vehicle's door, the report stated.

A cell phone charger and driver's license were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1100 block of Michigan Avenue on March 26.

Business theft

An Apple computer was reported stolen from a business in the 500 block of Davis Street on March 27.

Workplace theft

Several credit cards were reported stolen from an office in the 1600 block of Orrington Avenue on March 27.

Stolen auto

A car was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Dodge Avenue on March 25. The victim told police that the offender was someone known to him or her, the report stated.

Garage burglary

Cash was reported stolen from a garage unit in the 2700 block of Eastwood Avenue on March 26.

Simple assault

Andrew Garth Wint, 36, of Skokie, was charged with simple assault on March 27 around 4:30 p.m. Wint was arrested in the 2400 block of Main Street, police said.
