Men Threaten Victim With Knife in Robbery Attempt

Four men threatened a victim with a knife and told him to exit his car in an attempted robbery in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue at 10:46 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, according to police.

Auto Thief Steals 2012 Chevy

Someone stole a gray, four-door 2012 Chevrolet Impala with the license plate N2451511 from the 1000 block of Ridge Avenue at 9:51 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, according to police.

Arrests: DUI, Theft of Service

Austin Castleberry, 50, of the 6800 block of North Wayne Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft of service or labor at 9:07 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue, according to police.

Seth Hoffenberg, 20, of the 900 block of North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue, according to police.

A 28-year-old Chicago man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, police reported.

Brittany Shanell Johnson, 22, of the 1200 block of West Loyola Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft over $500 at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the Evanston Police Station, according to police.

Eduardo Mancera, 32, and Ismael Soto-Miranda, 42, both of the 7400 block of North Damen Avenue in Chicago, were arrested and charged with battery at 9:26 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, according to police.

Amide Polycarpe, 33, of the 2000 block of Grey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 9:01 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the intersection of Dodge Avenue and Greenwood Street, according to police.

Jasmine Thurman, 22, of the 200 block of Washington Avenue in LaGrange, was arrested and charged with forgery at 12:27 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, police reported.

Naomi Noelle Turner, 33, of the 7600 block of North Bosworth Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 2 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police.

Wallet Stolen From Locked Locker

Someone stole a black leather wallet with its contents and cash from a locked locker in a locker room in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

Cell Phone Stolen From Backpack at ETHS

Someone stole a white AT&T iPhone 4s from a backpack at Evanston Township High School at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

Retail Theft: Bolt Cutter, Tequila, Gap Jeans

A man stole a Ridgid S36 red and black bolt cutter from a hardware store in the 2300 block of Oakton Street between 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, and 2:23 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, police reported.

A man stole a gallon of Ciroc vodka, a 750 ml bottle of Ciroc vodka, two 750 ml bottles of 1800 Tequila, a 50 ml bottle of Black Label whiskey and a 750 ml bottle of Ketel One Vodka from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

A man stole a pair of womens jeans from the Gap in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue at 4:44 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

Vandal Breaks Windows On Greenwood

Someone broke two windows of a home in the 1800 block of Greenwood Street at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, police reported.

Water Meter Vandalized On Howard

Someone broke the water meter at a business in the 700 block of Howard Street between 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

Car Scratched On Callan

A woman scratched a 1998 Pontiac parked in an apartment lot in the 200 block of Callan Avenue between 12:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, and 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.

Graffiti Found On Oakton, Howard

Graffiti appeared on a business in the 600 block of Oakton Street between Jan. 1 and Feb. 14, 2013, according to police.

Graffiti appeared on a medical office in the 800 block of Howard Street between 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, and 11:05 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, according to police.
