Found: Missing Rogers Park Man Often Spent Time Evanston

Family and friends are searching for 32-year-old Michael Harding, who was last seen in downtown Chicago on Friday, June 21.

A 32-year-old Rogers Park man who often spent time in Evanston has been missing since last Friday, June 21, according to police.

Michael Harding was last seen leaving the Starbucks at 38 E. Ontario St., where he worked. He is white, roughly 6 feet tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown hair, blue eyes and a mole on his right cheek.

Harding lived in Edgewater but had been staying with a friend in Rogers Park for the past month, according to DNA Info Rogers Park. Friends told DNA Info that Harding had not returned calls for five days. 

Harding grew up in Upper Michigan, where his family still lives, according to his friend, Cheryl Cladas. He has been living in the Chicago area for the past few years.

“His family wants him to come home safe,” she said.
