Pedestrian Struck in Hit and Run on Chicago Ave.

Police are seeking information on the vehicle, which witnesses described as a white Ford F150 pick-up truck.

A 46-year-old Chicago man is in critical condition after being struck in a hit-and-run accident on Chicago Avenue early Sunday morning.

reported that the man, who was taken to St. Francis Hospital, regained consciousness after being hit around 12:20 a.m.

Witnesses told police that the vehicle looked like a white Ford F150 pick-up truck. They're asking anyone with information about the accident or the driver to call (847)866-5000.

Evanston Police are currently investigating a hit and run accident that involved a pedestrian being struck in the 300 block of Chicago Ave.  Police responded to the accident at approximately 12:20AM on today's date and learned that a pedestrian was crossing Chicago Ave. walking eastbound when a vehicle traveling northbound struck the victim and continued northbound from the scene.

Witnesses describe the vehicle as possibly a white Ford F150 pick-up truck. The victim was transported to St.Francis Hospital by Evanston Fire Department Paramedics with several injuries and is listed in critical condition. The victim has since regained consciousness and police continue to investigate.  The victim is a male, 46 year old resident of Chicago.
