Pickpocket Steals Purse Downtown

Pickpocket Steals Purse On Church

Someone stole a small blue paisley quilted purse from a larger bag at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, July 27, in the 900 block of Church Street, police reported.

Woman Steals Van On Main

A known female offender stole a black 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 van with the license plate R212608 from the 800 block of Main Street between 8 a.m. and 1 pm. Wednesday, July 10, according to police.

Gunfire Reported On Mulford

Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 600 block of Mulford Street at 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, July 30. Nothing was found in the area.

Man Charged With Obstructing Police

Felix Laboy Cotto Jr., 32, of the 7100 block of South Normal in Chicago, was arrested and charged with obstructing police in the 3000 block of Simpson Street at 6:01 p.m. Monday, July 29, police reported.

Bikes Stolen On Main, Custer

Someone stole a Specialized mountain bike with gray details on the frame that was locked up in the 600 block of Main Street between 5:03 and 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, police reported.

Someone stole a newer model Trek bicycle from a yard in the 100 block of Custer Avenue between 1:00 and 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, police reported.

Watch Stolen On Dobson

Someone stole a white Sonya Bitton watch with gold details that was delivered to an apartment or condo common area in the 700 block of Dobson Street between 11:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, according to police.  

Tires Slashed On Main

Someone slashed the tires of a 2001 Pontiac parked in a business lot in the 2400 block of Main Street between 6:15 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, according to police.
