Someone stole a silver steel mesh wallet with its contents at the Davis Street CTA station at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, police reported.

Evanston Man Charged With Possession of Cannabis

Tariq Camil Mitchell, 21, of the 1800 block of Grey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue, according to police.

Burglar Steals Keys, Funeral Files From Church

A man pried open the safe at a church in the 600 block of Lake Street and stole keys and funeral files between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to police.

Thief Takes Diamond and Emerald Rings, Sapphire Bracelet

A known offender stole a diamond engagement ring, sapphire and diamond bracelet and wedding ring with emerald from a home in the 300 block of Davis Street between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, according to police.

Car Burglar Steals Laptop Computer

Someone stole an HP laptop computer from a 1997 Plymouth parked at Nathaniel and McDaniel at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to police.

Bikes Stolen On Chicago, Benson

Someone stole a Trek bicycle that was locked to a rack in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between 5 and 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, police reported.

Someone stole another Trek bicycle that was locked to a rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 8:30 and 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to police.

Window Broken On Dobson

Someone used a rock to break the window of a home in the 1900 block of Dobson Street between 12:55 and 1 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, according to police.

Window Screen Cut On Sheridan

Someone cut the window screen of a park building in the 1600 block of Sheridan Road between 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to police.
