Play Station Stolen From Park Building

A man stole a video game console with controllers from a park building in the 1700 block of Church Street around 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, police reported.

Copper Pipe, Fittings Stolen On Grey Avenue

Someone stole a copper pipe and fittings worth more than $500 from a home in the 1700 block of Grey Avenue between 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, and 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, according to police.

Bicycles Stolen On Grant Street

Someone stole a black Trek bicycle, a blue and silver Trek bicycle and a blue and yellow Denali bicycle from an unlocked garage in the 1900 block of Grant Street between 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, and 7:13 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, according to police. 

Wallet Stolen From Gym Locker

Someone stole a black leather bi-fold wallet from a locked gym locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 8:45 and 9:25 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, police reported. 

Man Arrested For Retail Theft

Dewitt N. Brown, 43, of the 400 block of Callan Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole alcohol from the Jewel-Osco at 1128 Chicago Ave. around 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, according to police.

A man stole Red Bull energy drinks and food from a convenience store in the 800 block of Davis Street around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, according to police. 

Burglary From a Motor Vehicle

Someone stole a backpack and Chase Bank check from an unlocked 1986 Cadillac parked in the 1000 block of Davis Street between 12 and 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, police reported. 

Someone stole a red and gray hat, Blackberry Bold cell phone and red watch from a 2007 Jeep that was left unlocked in a driveway in the 2100 block of Central Park Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, and 12:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, according to police. 

Someone entered a 2000 Volkswagen that was left unlocked in the 2200 block of Lincolnwood Drive between 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, according to police.  It is unknown at this time whether anything is missing. 

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle

Someone damaged the sunroof of a 2002 Lincoln Continental parked in the lot of a business in the 1900 block of Main Street between 8:30 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, according to police.
