Great job, just one more thing, it's not St. Patty's, it's St. Paddy's.

Great. But why do this only on St. Patrick's Day. I doubt the people driving around without insurance or valid licenses are waiting until March 17 to commit these offenses.

Scotirish, thanks for the correction. You're right that Paddy's is the preferred spelling, so I've made the change. And now you know my secret: I'm not Irish.

Perhaps more productive would have been to patrol high crime areas to prevent such muggings as happened on mar 15 on the 900 block of Madison St., or on mar 16 on the 300 block of Ridge Avenue (also known as "Robbers Ridge"), or on mar 17 on the 700 block of Forest Avenue. It seems we have our priorities skewed: seat belts vs being robbed at gun point on the street, on plain sight. Way to go Evanston.
