A boy was robbed after he tried to buy a cell phone off an acquaintance behind Evanston Township High School on Wednesday afternoon. They intended to make the transaction in the parking lot, but when the boy arrived, the other individual did not have the phone, so they walked to a house on the 1500 block of Pitner Avenue at 4:30 p.m. At that time, another person came in and each grabbed opposite sides of the boy. The boy's acquaintance said, “This isn't what you think it is,” and then demanded his money and possessions. He then got out a metal object concealed by a black glove, which the boy thought was a gun. The boy then gave them his wallet and his Apple iPhone. Both robbers were black males. One was 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds and the other was 6-foot tall.
