Two teenagers were robbed while waiting at a CTA bus stop at the corner of Dodge Avenue and Mulford Street at 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 22. Police said that three other teenagers came up to them on bicycles, indicated that they had a knife and demanded their possessions. The cyclists ransacked the boys' bags, but found nothing of value. They then searched the boys' pockets and stole a $200 HTC cell phone and a pocket knife from one of the boys. One of the assailants then said, “I could cut you with this,” before all three took off on their bikes. Police described the bikers as males about 17 years old, two of them black and one Hispanic. The first one was a black teen about 5-foot-8 and 130 pounds, with a blonde streak through his hair. He wore long, baggy jeans and a gold-colored chain around his neck. The second black teen was also 130 pounds. The Hispanic male was 5-foot-10 and chubby, with a red shirt and black jean shorts. The boys waiting for the bus were not hurt.
