Theft

Someone stole a Star Wars Dark-Side detector toy from a store on the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Vandalism

The glass window front of a business was shattered between 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 11 a.m. on Thursday on the 1800 block of Oak Avenue.
Someone broke the front passenger-side window of a 2007 Mercedes-Benz between 12:20 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monday on the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue.
Burglary
A burglar broke the lock on the front door of a garage at 11:02 p.m. on Thursday on the 800 block of Grey Avenue.
Driving under the Influence
Josue Perez, 25, of Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 5:05 a.m. on Thursday on the 100 block of Chicago Avenue. His court date is set for Jan. 26.
Driving without a License
Mario D. Chess, 41, of Skokie was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday on the corner of Church Street and McDaniel Avenue. His court date is set for Feb. 7.
Juan Chogllo, 38, of Chicago was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday on the corner of Dodge Avenue and Lyons Avenue. His court date is set for Jan. 11.
Miguel Franco, 25, of Chicago was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday on the 1700 block of Grey Avenue. His court date is set for Jan. 10.
