Police Blotter June 3: Shots Fired from Pontiac; Woman Involved in Battery

Assault

Someone in a 2003 Pontiac shot at a victim in a Chrysler while driving at 4:34 a.m. on June 2 at the corner of Howard Street and Custer Avenue.
A woman hit someone in the arm at 11:55 a.m. on June 2 on the 300 block of Dodge Avenue. The suspect is a 5-foot-3 white woman who weighs about 250 pounds.

A 14-year-old Evanston resident was arrested and charged with battery at 5:35 p.m. on June 2 at Chute Middle School on the 1400 block of Oakton Street.
Burglary
A dark specialized Circle bicycle with a child seat was stolen out of an apartment storage locker between 4:30 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. on May 27 on the 1100 block of Judson Avenue.
Theft
A garbage can was reported stolen from an alley at 11:18 a.m. on June 2 on the 2300 block of Thayer Street.
A black Trek bicycle was stolen out of an apartment storage locker at 2:30 p.m. on June 2 on the 600 block of Lake Street.
An unlocked purple-and-green Trek bicycle was stolen out of a lawn at 5:25 p.m. on June 2 on the 1700 block of Cleveland Street.
A girl reportedly removed a T-Mobile cell phone from a backpack between 9:19 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on May 26 at Evanston Township High School on the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue.
A black Cricket cell phone was stolen from a taxicab at 3 a.m. on June 2 on the 300 block of Howard Street. The suspect is a black man about 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds.
An Apple iPhone was stolen from a jacket pocket while it was hanging from a chair on 10:30 p.m. on May 29 on the 900 block of Church Street.
Vandalism
A bullet hole was found in a Volvo at 4:34 a.m. on June 2 on the 100 block of Custer Avenue.
Someone damaged the windows on a 1997 Honda at 11:27 p.m. on June 1 on the 1400 block of Brummel Street.
Two windows were damaged on a property between 6:30 p.m. on June 1 and 7 a.m. on June 2 on the 1800 block of Oak Avenue.
Washington Elementary School on the 900 block of Ashland Avenue was found tagged with blue and black spray paint at 5 p.m. on June 1.
Trespassing
A 17-year-old Evanston resident and a 14-year-old Evanston resident were arrested and charged with trespassing at 5:35 p.m. on June 2 at Chute Middle School on the 1400 block of Oakton Street.
Arrest Warrant
Louis Cherry, 41, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 8:30 a.m. on June 2 on the 1400 block of Dobson Avenue.
William Eason, 36, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 9:18 a.m. on June 2 on the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue.
Paula E. Green, 40, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 7 a.m. on June 2 on the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue.
Shaquill D. Green, 18, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 6:31 p.m. on June 1 on the 1500 block of Simpson Street.
Paul Nation, 25, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 7 a.m. on June 2 on the 2000 block of Grey Avenue.
Kevin E. Thomas, 32, of Evanston was arrested on a warrant at 4:45 p.m. on June 1 on the 1800 block of Dempster Street.
Marijuana Possession
Hugh A. Lyew, 26, of Evanston was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana at 6 a.m. on June 2 on the 2000 block of Grey Avenue. Lyew also had a warrant out for his arrest. His court date is set for July 5.
Michael Scott, 50, of Evanston was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana at 7 a.m. on June 2 on the 1600 block of McDaniel Avenue. His court date is set for July 5.
Man with Gun
A man was seen with a gun and shots were heard at 3:33 a.m. on June 2 on the 1800 block of Wesley Avenue.
Driving without a License
Rajih R. Donley, 23, of Chicago was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license at 2:58 a.m. on June 2 on the 300 block of Ridge Avenue. His court date is set for July 5.
