A 15-year-old Evanston resident was arrested after another iPhone robbery attempt at Evanston Township High School on May 20 at 12:35 p.m. Police said a male student approached a boy on the third floor of the school and demanded the kid's Apple iPhone, but the other boy wouldn't give it up. He then put the boy into a chokehold. A teacher came into the hallway from a classroom, so the boy punched the victim in the face and ran off without the phone. He was detained before leaving the school and charged with attempted robbery. His name was not released since he is being tried as a juvenile.
