Police Called After ETHS Teacher Injured in Student Fight

The school is reportedly not pressing charges.

Police were dispatched to Tuesday afternoon in response to a report that a 14-year-old male student had attacked a teacher.

A bulletin posted at noon today on the school’s website stated that a teacher sustained injuries while attempting to break up a fight between two students.

Police said that no charges have been filed yet.

The students involved in the altercation were removed from the school following the fight, and the school reported it would pursue disciplinary action as dictated through district policies.

It is unclear what injuries the teacher sustained, but police spokesman Perry Polinski said that the teacher did not require medical attention.

Police were called to the north side of the school near the field house at about 1 p.m.

Good thing the staff member was not seriously injured. It did not look good as he was laying motionless in the fieldhouse. Student might get expelled. Stay tuned. Gotta keep those suspensions down. People should really see how their tax dollars are being spent. There are too many negative things going on at ETHS. There are plenty of good things but the bad is what gets put in the paper. Facts in this article are not too accurate though.
