Police Investigate Report of Shots Fired at Grey and Church

Shots Fired at Grey Avenue and Church Street

Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun at Grey Avenue and Church Street at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. Nothing was found in the area.

Robbers Pull Jacket Over Victim’s Head, Steal Phone

Two robbers pulled a man’s jacket over his head, then stole his Apple iPhone at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue, police reported.

Bikes Stolen On South, Sherman

Someone stole a Trek bicycle that was locked to a rack in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 7:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, police reported. 

Someone stole a red, 21-speed Diamondback men’s bicycle with thin wheels and hand brakes that was locked up in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue between 1:00 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, and 8:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, police reported. 

Thief Steals Credit Card From Retirement Home

Someone stole a credit card from a retirement home in the 3200 block of Grant Street between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 15, according to police. 

Man Steals Cigarettes on Howard Street

A man stole Newport cigarettes from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 1:04 and 1:16 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, police reported.
