Police: Purse Swiped From Stroller

The following information was reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: Battery, Cannabis

Jacqueline Banks, 41, was arrested and charged with battery at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue, police reported.

Jenny B. Hameed, 40, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, was arrested and charged with disobedience to police at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, police reported. 

Marcus Rodgerick Johnson, 36, of the 1100 block of Sherman Avenue, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at his home at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, police reported. 

Car Burglary On Cowper

Someone stole cash from an unlocked 2006 Toyota parked in the 2500 block of Cowper Avenue between 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, and 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, police reported.

Purse Swiped From Stroller

A man stole a purse with its contents that was left unattended in a stroller in a park at Ridge and Isabella Street between 11:45 and 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, according to police. 

Cars Vandalized On Brummel, Maple

A woman broke the back window and damaged the windshield of a 2001 BMW parked in the 1400 block of Brummel Street around 12:55 a.m. Friday, May 24, according to police.

A man damaged the tire of a 1995 Honda parked in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue between 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, and 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29,
