Police Release Photos of Suspects in Robbery Near Foster 'El'

Police are seeking the public's help in finding three people "wanted for questions" in a robbery that took place near the Foster Street 'el' Thursday night.

Evanston police have released surveillance photos of three people they say are "wanted for questions" in an aggravated robbery of a Northwestern student Thursday, Aug. 22.

Police say the three individuals may have been involved in a robbery near the Foster Street 'El' station around 8:10 p.m. Thursday. The victim said the man, who was wearing a New York Yankees hat, implied that he had a weapon, and stole $20 in cash.

The offenders are described as two women between the age of 14 to 16 and a man who is approximately 40 years old, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department by calling 847-866-5040 or texting the letters "EPD" and a message to 27463 (CRIMES).
