Apartment burglary
An Apple case and two cell phones were reported stolen from an apartment unit in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue on May 10.
Theft from auto
A purse and its contents were reported stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue on May 13.

An Illinois firefighter license plate, stereo, TV, amp and other sound products were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace on May 4.
Graffiti
Police observed graffiti in the 800 block of Howard Street on May 13.
Domestic battery
A 52-year-old Evanston man was charged with domestic battery on May 22. The offender was arrested in the 1400 block of Elmwood around 1:30 a.m., police said.
Retail theft
Vincent Armstrong, 43, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on May 10. The offender was arrested in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 1 a.m.

Xavier Laden, 20, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on May 10. The offender was arrested in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue around 3:14 a.m.
Strong armed robbery
Jeremiah Ratliff, 22, of Chicago, was charged with strong armed robbery on May 12. The offender was arrested in the 1600 block of Jonquil around 10:55 a.m., police said.
