Robber Knocks Victim Down, Steals Purse
A man knocked his victim to the ground, then stole her purse between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Washington Street and Custer Avenue, according to police.
Thief Steals Mazda Miata Convertible
Someone stole a white and brown 1996 Mazda Miata convertible with the license plate "J" between Nov. 17 and Dec. 17 in the 1800 block of Benson Avenue, according to police.
Burglar Steals Computer on Pitner
Someone stole a 17-inch HP laptop computer from a home in the 1300 block of Pitner Avenue between midnight and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, according to police.
Arrest: Disorderly Conduct
Lashawn Gerald Stewart, 46, of the 1500 block of West Jonquil Terrace in Chicago, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the 600 block of Custer Avenue, according to police.
