Robbers Hit Victim With Metal Pipe

A robber struck a man with a metal pipe while two other robbers punched the man and stole his money at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the 300 block of Howard Street, police reported.

Arsonists Hits Hinman Apartment

Someone used an accelerant on an apartment in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue between 8:28 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, according to police.

Man Charged With Cannabis Possession

Odain D. Richards, 19, of the 700 block of Dobson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis on his street at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, police reported.

Burglar Steals Sony Playstation on Lyons

Someone stole a Sony Playstation from an unlocked apartment in the 1800 block of Lyons Street between 8 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, police reported.

Car Burglar Steals Expensive Outerwear

Someone stole North Face and REI clothing and cash from an unlocked 2004 Toyota parked in the 2100 block of Ewing Avenue between 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, and 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, police reported.

Handicapped Placard Stolen on Simpson

Someone stole an Illinois handicapped placard and a coin purse with contents from a 2004 Pontiac left unlocked in the 1200 block of Simpson Street between 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, and 8 am. Wednesday, Sept. 26, according to police.

Graffiti Appears on Chicago

Graffiti appeared in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between midnight and 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, police reported.
