Robbers Pull Gun, Steal Wallet on Washington

Robbers Display Handgun, Steal Wallet and Watch
Three men displayed a handgun and stole a Kenneth Cole wallet and Seiko watch from their victim between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Washington Street and Elmwood Avenue, according to police.

Man Finds Three Burglars in His Home
A man found three burglars inside his apartment in the 2000 block of Emerson Street at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, police reported.

Arrests: Battery, Theft
Irvin William Bennett, 35, of the 700 block of Hinman Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 2:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at the police station, according to police.
Otis Graham, 41, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with theft at 5:39 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue, police reported.
Bikes Stolen On Barton
Someone entered an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Barton Avenue and stole a red and white Trek children’s bicycle and a red Trek mountain bicycle with a rear package rack between 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, according to police.
Wallet, Backpack Stolen From Locker Room
Someone stole a wallet with its contents and a backpack with its contents that were locked up in a locker room in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 5:20 and 6:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, police reported.
Thief Steals Scented Christmas Candles
A woman stole two air wick scented Christmas candles from a chain pharmacy in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue at 8:48 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, according to police.
Graffiti Found on Howard Street
Graffiti appeared on a business in the 700 block of Howard Street between 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, and 12:01 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, police reported.
