Robbers Steal Pizza, Cash On Jackson

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: Battery, DUI, Retail Theft

Richard Andrew Brannon, 60, of the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue, was arrested and charged with battery at 6:09 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue, according to police.

Lauren Kate Delany, 26, of the 700 block of Rockland in Lake Bluff, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 8:35 p.m. Nov. 2, police reported.

Nancy Hernandez, 30, of the 8600 block of West Grant in Rivergrove, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the intersection of Bennett and Simpson, according to police.

Jessica Nate Kennedy, 25, of the 6900 block of South Jeffery in Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, in the 1500 block of West Jonquil, according to police.

Robert Frederick Kraft, 51, of the 2600 block of Prairie Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 4:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the 1900 block of Central Street, police reported.

Hortensia Monroy-Valdez, 40, of the 7300 block of North Hoyne in Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft at the intersection of Lake Street and Sherman Avenue at 4:16 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, according to police.

Robert Frederick Kraft, 51, of the 2600 block of Prairie Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery after he stole electronics from a department store in the 2200 block of Howard Street at 3:12 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, police reported.

Men Steal Pizza, Cash On Jackson

Two men stole demanded someone’s money and stole his cash and a large pizza in a yard in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue 9:13 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, according to police.

Burglar Steals Computer, Jewelry, Xbox, Etc. on Isabella

Someone broke the window of a home in the 900 block of Isabella Street and burglarized the residence between 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, and 9:34 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4. He or she stole an IBM laptop computer, an Apple monitor, costume jewelry, an Xbox gaming system, Canon digital camera and Apple mp3 player with the inscription “Simply the Best Enjoy the Journey,” according to police.

Minivan Stolen On Ridge Avenue

Someone stole a 2011 Sienna Minivan with a Michigan license plate, CFL3497, from the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, and 6:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2.

Thief Steals Custom Rims From BMW

Someone stole a set of 5-point custom Strata rims with double edges from a 2005 BMW parked in an apartment lot in the 1800 block of Lake Street, according to police.

Car Burglars Steal Disabled Parking Placard, GPS

Someone stole cash and a disabled parking placard from a 2004 Cadillac parked in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 1 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, according to police.

Someone stole three Garmin GPS units from an unlocked 2006 Toyota parked in a driveway in the 1200 block of Dobson Street between 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, and 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, according to police.

Keys Stolen From Sleeping Person

Someone stole a set of mailbox keys from a person who was sleeping at a medical office in the 2900 block of Central Street between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, according to police.

Baby Formula Stolen on Howard Street

A man stole Similac baby formula from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 12:55 and 1:03 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, police reported.

Wallet Stolen From Business on Green Bay

Someone stole red vinyl coin wallet and its contents that was left unattended at a business in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road between 3:15 and 4:44 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, police reported.

Cell Phones Stolen From Locker, Apartment

Someone stole a black Apple cell phone from an unlocked locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 6:25 and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, according to police.

A known offender stole a Cricket cell phone from an apartment in the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue at 3:04 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, police reported.

Obama Signs Stolen and More Criminal Damage

Someone tore a banner in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road between 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, and 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, police reported.

Someone stole two Obama signs from a home in the 2700 block of Ridge Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, and 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, according to police.

Someone damaged a TV screen in an apartment in the 1800 block of Dodge Avenue between 2 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, according to police.

Gang graffiti appeared in a park in the 1900 block of Simpson Street between Sunday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 3, according to police. 

Someone used a brick to break the rear window of a 1999 Ford parked in the 100 block of Callan Avenue between 8:15 and 11:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, police reported.
